Red threads bind the figure from every direction. They resemble restraints, but also veins, scars and emotional connections. Their origin remains uncertain, suggesting that the forces restricting us are often inseparable from those we have created ourselves.
The painting reflects the invisible networks of expectation, responsibility, fear and perfectionism that gradually become part of our identity.
Rather than depicting physical imprisonment, the work visualizes psychological dependency.
It asks:
Which invisible threads are holding you—and which ones are you still holding yourself?
